The Tulare Basin Wildlife Partners works with a variety of experts to share additional planning and conservation resources with agencies, agricultural associations, private landowners, elected officials, and others interested in conserving land and water in the Tulare Basin.
- Atwell Island Restoration Project Activities, 2000 - 2010: In 2010, the Bureau of Land Management completed a 10-year restoration program at its Atwell Island site under the Central Valley Project Improvement Act Land Retirement Demonstration Project. This document is a comprehensive resource guide for restoration strategies in the Tulare Basin.
- The Future of Natural Resource Management: A document from the California Natural Resources Agency that proposes a series of near‐term and long‐term policy recommendations to be considered by the Governor‐elect’s administration.
On October 6, 2010, Secretary for Natural Resources Lester Snow hosted a policy summit titled “The Future of Natural Resource Management.” The purpose of the summit was to facilitate discussion and debate within the natural resource management and environmental community regarding policy, legislation and finance strategies that would lead to better integration of resource management activities. Local, state and federal government agencies, conservation organizations, industry representatives and other interested stakeholders attended the summit. This document is a report on the outcome of the event.
